Direct Bill for
Renewals.

CRC Tapco provides Direct Bill for Personal Lines renewals. CRC Tapco also offers a Direct Bill option for Commercial renewals. The details for our Direct Bill Renewals are as follows:

  • The renewal package contains everything needed to renew the policy: expiration notice, any state required forms, and an invoice.
  • The broker will receive a duplicate of the insured's renewal package for their file, along with any required state affidavits. The broker's copy also includes applications. (NOTE: Most classes of business require new applications every three years. However, some classes including: Churches, Excavation/Grading of Land Contractors, Fire Extinguish Service and repair, General Contractors, Halfway Houses, Hemp and cannaboid production manufacturers, Home Health Care Agencies, Landowners, Machinery/Equipment Repairmen, Machine Shops, Remodelers, Roofers, and Schools, require new applications signed by the broker and the insured be forwarded every year. In addition, if there are any changes to the exposure or the renewal is offered through a different carrier, new applications will be required as well.)
  • The insured also receives an optional premium finance agreement, if eligible, and a payment link to make a payment. The renewal premium or down payment can be paid online with VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or by ACH. The insured may also mail a check to renew the policy. The agent should submit any required forms.
  • Once the policy is renewed, a commission check will be issued in 10 to 14 days.
